The Tintin Movie Geared for Sucess with Jackson and Spielberg On Board
Tintin is finally being made into a movie. Tintin is being turned into movie by the dream pairing of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. Spielberg and Jackson will actually be making three Tintin movies back to back as Jackson accomplished with the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
The films will be shot back to back for logistical and financial expediency; they will come rattling off the production line in 2009. Spielberg has been a Tintin fan since he was a small boy and the upcoming filming brings an end to a 25 year mission to get a film made. Spielberg was first approached back in 1982 by Georges Remi (who initials GR were reversed to form the pen name Herge). Remi sent out emissaries and it resulted in a three year option for Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment in 1984. It was reported that after the success of ET Spielberg hired Melissa Mathison who helped write ET and was then Harrison Ford's wife to compose a an African adventure in which Tintin overcame ivory hunters in a classic Tintin yarn.
This would be a role reversal for Tintin who had in a previous tale cheerfully blown up a rhinoceros with a stick of dynamite. It could never quite come to fruition. One of the main reasons for this was due to the fact that Spielberg never believed he had the technology to pull off his vision satisfactorily. It was also at the same time Spielberg turned to his attention to his next undertaking that of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Rumour has it that some of the story lines for The Last Crusade were taken form the Tintin movie penned by Mathison.
Spielberg has also hinted that Indiana Jones chronicles were very much influenced by Tintin's boy-scout ethos. It has been noticed that the whole idea of creating a Tintin movie has resurfaced at the same time Spielberg has been absorbed in the fourth installment of Indiana Jones.
During those years when Amblin Entertainment had the option for the Tintin movie there were rumours about who would play Tintin. First there was obviously Henry Thomas who had starred in ET. Next there was a young Leonardo DiCaprio and then unbelievably Christopher Lambert and Jean-Claude Van Damme. As for the role of Captain Haddock the names of Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman and Richard Gere were mooted. Then for the role of Bianca Castafiore the opera dive and the only major role for a female was linked to Courtney Love. It is now known that Spielberg and his people never truly got close to making the movie back then.
Although there was a lot of rumour and speculation the only truth is that Spielberg's interest did wane and other directors came into the equation to make the film. Claude Berri (who had produced a successful live action version of Asterix) was rumoured to be interested as was Roman Polanski. Then Warner Brothers entered the chase. The Herge Foundation declined as they Warner Brothers failed to impress due to guarantees about creative integrity. When Warner Brothers left the scene the project was back at square one.
Spielberg and Jackson then got together and went into discussions with Moulinsart who in the intervening time took over the rights to Tintin. Eventually a deal was struck after long discussions. Spielberg and Jackson are both set to direct one film each with the third to be decided at a later date.
Jackson's special effects tam Weta Digital have been working on using 3-D animation to bring the junior reporter and his trusty dog Snowy to life. Jackson Weta effects house back in New Zealand took more than a year to knock-up a 20 minute demo that wowed backers. Jackson said "We are making the character look photorealistic; the fibres of their clothing, the pores of their skin and each individual hair. It is possible that the work, certainly the first one will start next year".

After the excitement of the Camaro coupe, General Motors is now ready to set forth a rising star in the form of the Camaro convertible. Earlier, the automaker has released images of the convertible concept to wow the automotive market. Last Saturday, the car kicked off at the North American International Auto Show.
Ed Peper, the Chevrolet general manager said, "For some of us, an emotional bond was formed when we introduced the Camaro coupe last year. It is magnificent. The automaker has already expressed its intent to produce the Camaro coupe and it is expected to go on sale in 2009.Though the convertible version of Camaro is not much different from the hardtop, Kevin Tynan, auto analyst of Argus Research said it is a smart addition to the automaker's show lineup because there is a market for it among the baby boomers and the vehicle also spices up some otherwise technical and practical offerings. Tynan added, "In a year of technology and fuel efficiency and environmentally friendly technology being more in the forefront, it's probably not a bad idea to have that wow factor. That's what it's for. To have people huddle around and look at it."
Camaro convertible concept is based on the original Camaro. In fact, it will be using some of the Chevrolet Camaro 2000 body parts but will entertain minor changes to make way for the convertible concept. The exterior dimensions of the original Camaro are retained. However, convertible will be powered by V-8 engine that sends power to the rear wheel through manual transmission. Families can view this series without concern for profanity or brutal violence, and everyone can enjoy a positive, fun experience together.

How to Kill Kargath Bladefist - Last Boss in Shattered Halls - World of Warcraft
Kargath Bladefist is the final boss of the Shattered Halls instance located in central Hellfire Peninsula. This essay will discuss the proper method to defeat him.
Bladefist can be a tough encounter, even for experienced players. Those who are new to this fight should spend a few minutes and read this essay in its entirety so that they can understand what they are up against when they are fighting Kargath Bladefist. He is not a push-over, and if you do not respect his abilities he will wipe your party very quickly. Pay attention to what this article teaches!
Mana users will definitely need to bring mana potions or any other items that may help with mana-regeneration (mana oil, food, etc.) Other party members will need to bring their own healing potions and bandages. Successfully traveling through Shattered Halls and killing the first two bosses takes considerable time. Respect the time of others and make sure you come prepared for this knock-down, drag out fight!
The problems involved with killing Bladefist are as follows:
Blade Dance - Kargath will ping-pong around his cage every thirty seconds and do a considerable amount of damage to anyone unlucky enough to be in his path. For this reason, it is best for everyone to stand apart from each other. The fewer players who get hit by Blade Dance the better chance you will have to defeat him.
Elite Assassins - These will spawn periodically from the hallway. They will come up the stairs, enter the arena, and typically go straight for your healer. Priority needs to be given to these as soon as they enter the arena. If you do not kill them quickly enough, they will keep spawning and eventually overwhelm your party.
Assignments:
Your tank needs to engage Bladefist and keep him in the exact center of the arena throughout the entire fight. Your tank will remain in that spot and focus on maintaining Kargath's aggro.
Your healer should position herself in an opposite corner from the stairs. She should get as far into the corner as possible and stay there for the duration of the fight. Also, she should use a mana potion as early as possible as the fight is considerably long, and she will definitely be able to use a second potion.
Ranged DPS should position themselves in the immediate left and right corners as you enter the arena. They should each get into their own corner and stay there throughout the fight.
You will need one melee DPS or AOE DPS positioned between Kargath and the stairs. This player will focus on the ads when they arrive from the hallway. This player needs to be able to perform a high amount of DPS in a short period of time. Rogues and mages are usually best for this position.
Ranged DPS should stay focused on Kargath until an Assassin enters the arena. At that point, both ranged DPS and the melee/AOE DPS should focus on the Assassin and kill it as quick as possible. As soon as the Assassin is dead, all DPS should resume on Kargath.
When Bladefist performs his ping-pong attack, he will inevitably hit at least one player other than the tank (you may get lucky and he'll miss everyone, but that is usually not the case). That player needs to use their healing potion or one of their bandages and allow your healer to conserve her mana for the tank and for herself. As part of the Horde, the Trolls have stretched their loyalty to the mighty Tauren, but they have less trust for the manipulative Forsaken, whom they think will bring only suffering and discord upon their allies.
Their alliance with Horde started through an encounter with the Orc Warchief Thrall who saved this band of Trolls, the Darkspear tribe, from the Murlocs. In debt to the mighty Thrall, the leader of the Trolls, Shadow Hunter Vol'jin of the Darkspear Trolls had sworn his allegiance to the Horde.
When they arrived at the shores of distant Kalimdor, the Horde met a series of challenges which led them to the Battle of Moutn Hyjal. There, the trolls under their new chief, Vol'jin, fought alongside the orcs against the Burning Legion. After the battle, the weary Horde was faced with one last challenge. Together, they carved out a new nation where they could attempt to find their place in the greater scheme of things. The Darkspear trolls settled in southern Durotar and the Echo Isles.
Allied with the Orcs, the Troll shares the same homeland of Durotar with its hot rugged hills, grassland and mountains on the east coast of Kalimdor. Their city of Orgrimmar, named after Thrall's mentor Orgrim Doomhammer, is also shared with the Orcs and is situated in a rugged jagged mountain valley. Orgrimmar is an impressive sight and has been constructed by Thrall to show the might of the Orcs and their allies.
While the trolls may be known for their hunting skills, they also dabble in the darker side of the magical arts which includes voodoo, dark spiritualism and blood magic. This makes this race well rounded in many skills as shown by the variety of classes available to this race.
The trolls are also one of the few races that have 6 classes that you can choose from: Mage, Priest, Hunter, Rogue, Warrior and Shaman. Their home city is Ogrimmar and starts the game at Durotar. They Mount Raptors and Wyverns and have the following racial traits:
Berserking (active) - Increases your melee, ranged, and casting speed by 10% to 30%. The value scales upwards towards 30% depending how low your health is when you activate the ability. Requires a small amount of mana, rage, or energy (depending on your class) to activate. Does not require being struck by a critical to activate. Lasts 10 seconds with 3 minute cooldown but no global cooldown.
Regeneration (passive) - Increase health regeneration bonus by 10%. 10% active in combat.
Beast Slaying (passive) - Increase damage bonus to Beasts by 5%.
Throwing & Bow Weapon Specialization (passive) - Increase Throwing Weapon skill by +5 and +5 to Bows.

How impressive could Escape get?
Clay from Vallejo, Calif. said, Hats off to the 08 Escape Hybrid! I had an 06 Escape Hybrid 4WD (not loaded) and for $1,500 more I now have a loaded 08 Escape Hybrid 4WD. The reason is starting with the 07 hybrids, Ford lowered the price. The exterior has a new aggressive look and even makes it appear larger. The new interior design is a plus. I noticed that the cabin is quieter and feels more solid on the road than my 06. The new EPA sticker shows a more real world estimate because right off I was doing 29 mpg and over on the first tank. It comes standard with dual climate, which is great because my wife is always colder, and an auxiliary jack for the iPod/MP3 addicts, two 12V power points for front and rear users, auto on/off headlamps and tire pressure sensors. The center stack has totally improved: larger touch screen GPS, six CD/MP3 in-dash instead of the changer under the passenger seat, and a high mount info screen (time, date, exterior and interior temperature, bearing).
The console is VERY sly! It can hide a 14-inch laptop and power it as well, thanks to the 110V plug right there in the front of the shifter. The center console attachments can be configured in a number of ways for convenience. Its one of those things you have to see for yourself! This hybrid is one to consider over the pricier Toyota and Lexus, Clay stressed.
Dramatic changes
We have a XLT 4WD and what a dramatic difference from the older versions...especially the interior...thank goodness. This new version is so much better in my opinion. Dramatically quieter and more comfortable and the prices are actually lower than last years model. We have some very steep hills in our area with gravel roads. The all wheel drive handles them with ease without any loss of traction. The transmission does all the braking on the way downhill with little effort, saving my brakes the wear and tear. Initial impression is that the overall look is well sculpted and smartly organized, with a sexy black leather interior. Ride is quiet, although a little rough on bad roads. I dont particularly like a mushy ride, so the feel of the road appeals to me. Seats are comfortable and will serve well on a long ride, as will the Audiophile speaker sound system, tuned to SIRIUS. Quality of interior is immediately noticeable. The only down side is the pebble grain dashboard and need to remove headrests from back seats in order to lay seats flat, although a compartment for storing headrests is provided. Chrome front grille looks a little cheesy. My preference is for a solid color grille. Clean and simple. List of safety features and new extended 60,000 mile warranty is impressive and should coax many buyers that its time to come back to Ford. Bottom line ... it looks good and is fun to drive. Sold.

Imagine injecting your sterling silver with blue, red, or chartreuse. I'm not talking about beads or gemstones (although I looove those too).
Here's a pop quiz: What materials can you bond, glue, or drip onto metal to add colour?
I can think of a few intriguing but common materials that you can experiment with. Can you guess what they are?
The first is...
If you can mix glue with a stick, you can use this low-tech material in your work. This relatively inexpensive medium can produce maximum results.
Epoxy is a 2 part mixture: a resin, and a hardener. Once they're mixed, it's only a matter of time it becomes a hard, durable, super glossy clear plastic substance that can be drilled, glued and sanded. It's the equivalent of 50 coats of varnish and dries to a mirror finish.
Where does the colour come in? Here's the really fantastic part - colour it with acrylic paint, gouache, jello powder, makeup powder, spices from your kitchen, or anything else you can think of.
Try layering it, drip it into etched or stamped depressions on sterling or copper sheet, and pour it into bezels. You can even try dipping things into it. Just keep in mind that epoxy is a glue, so somehow suspend any dipped work while waiting for it to cure. You don't want to bond it to anything!
You can buy two-part epoxy from the hardware store in little 2-sided syringes, and from craft and hobby suppliers in larger 2 bottle kits. You might find the larger quantity kits in some hardware stores too.
Things to know about epoxy:
- It cures up fast. Hardware store epoxy usually comes in the 5 and 11 minute varieties, and other epoxies are quick too. Make sure you factor in working time, and only mix up as much as you can use in the 5 or 10 minutes.
- Don't mix it with, or on, anything you ever want to use again. I like to mix up mine on a scrap piece of paper with a popsicle stick.
- Don't inhale it or touch it with your bare skin before it cures. It's nasty for your health. Always take proper precautions when working with chemicals.

What common craft material comes in every colour of the rainbow, translucent and opaque, liquid and solid, is moldable, and can be hardened in a regular oven?
Polymer clay of course! Polymer clay is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and goes under various brandnames, including FIMO, Sculpey, and Friendly Clay. In case you were wondering, polymer clay usually has no actual "clay" in it.
Polymer clay can be used for more than sculting beads and pendants. Try gluing tiny pieces onto cut metal sheet components to make mosaics. Fill slices of sterling tubing with clay. Experiment with the liquid clays and coloured powders on the market.
Things to know about polymer clay:
- Each manufacturer makes its clay differently and each brand has slightly different qualities and baking temperatures so always read the instructions.
- Polymer clay needs to be "conditioned" before you can work with it. You can condition clay by kneading it with your hands, or running it through a dedicated food processor. Some people like to sit on it for awhile (in a baggie of course! )to warm it before kneading.
- Use dedicated tools with your polymer clay. You don't want to use your polymer clay rolling pin to make cookies with later.
Important notes: Do not attempt to use any of these materials without understanding what you need to do to protect your health and your surroundings. Don't inhale fumes, contaminate your household utensils, or accidentally melt, burn, glue, or set yourself or anything else on fire.

Brian Kopp's Guide When I first saw this guide I thought it was scam, really if you are not referred by some review like this one almost everyone thinks that But time passed and when I saw that the guide is pretty loved so I bought it. This guide can make your alliance leveling speed very fast, especially if you are a hunter this guide will be perfect for you only for the other races it gets some practicing. questing is less speedy then grinding IF you don't know the way how to do it, before I purchased this guide I was one of the guys that grinded whole my way to 70 but Brian's Kopp his guide makes it much more faster. you get leveled up like crazy and you get much more fun doing it. This guide is pretty good but if you ever played FF you know red mage cant heal as good as a white mage or cast as good black magic as a black mage, this guide is like the Red mage, if you are new to wow and want to know the basics. I love that Brian always know what location is best for leveling, except if you are a human you'll never set a single step into west fall because the quests at The night elves area's are much more rewarding. I know, almost nobody likes dark shore background setting but if you want to reach 17 some bit more quickly you best level here

The speed of leveling is great, not only you get to there very quickly, you also get nice items and gold from quest rewards. The auction house isnt the only way though, sometimes you can sell a large amount of something (10+ stacks) for near the auction house value and without it taking its cut. It is always a good idea before selling anything on the auction house to advertise it in the trade channel for the price or maybe even a little more than you where going to put it on the auction house for. You will get a few annoying people offering you ludicrously low amounts, just ignore them and stick to your guns, it will pay when someone wants to buy all you have for more than you were going to sell it for in the first place.
Netherweave Cloth.
This drops nearly everywhere in the outlands, its price varies widely, however on most servers it fluctuates between 4g and 10g, a good time to consider selling this on any server is between 7-8g, it might not be the best price you could get for it, but you wont lose precious gold in auction house deposits. The best part is that there is always a high demand for Netherweave Cloth, so you can nearly always sell this in the trade channel. To pick up Netherweave Cloth I suggest killing the Trolls in the Warmaul Compound in North West Nagrand, There are plenty of mobs to kill and you generally get 1-3 pieces of netherweave per kill, plus you get some Warmaul Beads, which are excellent for getting your rep up with both Kurenai and the Consortium.
Sunfury Signets & Arcane Tomes
Both these drop very regularly in Shadowmoon Valley, these both go for large amounts in the auction house especially since scryers is currently an overplayed ffaction, so many more people are buying these over the Aldor. You can pick up a lot of these grinding just west of the Scryer town in Shadowmoon Valley, between the two bridges there is a road heading south, there are two paths, one has a huge amount of the blood elves in groups of three and close together that you need to kill, it may be easier to do this in a group of two or three, however if you are soloing take the path a little further on, up towards Eclipse Point, here the blood elves are spread out, and not in groups, Not only will you pick up silver, netherweave and the two Scryer hand ins for these but you will also notice a high drop rate of greens and even the occasional blue, all these can usually be sold on the auction house or even disenchanted.

Advertise For Free - Thats Perfect For Me!
I saw a question on a forum the other day that reminded me of when I first started my home business ten years ago. A guy wanted to advertise his business offline and without much money, he was asking for suggestions.
